A minha solução foi bem mais simples: criei um arquivo em html no CS6 ,hospedei o banner .sfw no meu host e fui no plugin mensagem de boas vindas ,habilitei e coleio html pronto: funcionou.Segue o codigo para quem quiser (só substiti:

boa noite!

Uso a versão 3.0.3.2 com tema default. Não localizei a pasta e arquivo mencionados então colei o código no arquivo banner.twig localizado em /catalog/view/theme/default/template/extension/module.
Fiz o upload do swf para o servidor e inseri o caminho do arquivo no campo link incluindo seu nome e extensão mas não deu certo.

Gente preciso de ajuda urgente. Na migraç&a[…]
