[RESOLVIDO] Use SEO URLs não funciona - Erro 404

Boa noite pessoal,
Estou usando o OpenCart 2.1.0.2. Vamos ver se alguém consegue me ajudar, pois revirei a net em busca de informação, tentei de tudo (inclusive coisas de foruns gringos) e não faz diferença alguma.
1- Ativei Use SEO URLs nos settings da loja.
2- Renomeei o .htaccess.
3- A loja estava em um subdiretório, então alterei o RewriteBase /subdiretorio, voltei para o public_html e alterei novamente o RewriteBase /
4- Entrei em contato com o suporte do Hostgator e informaram que o mod_rewrite está ativo no servidor.
5- Alterei a SEO URL de alguns produtos para "nome-produto", "NOME-PRODUTO" e não fez diferença.
6- O que estou fazendo de errado?
